Doriana
Doriana is one of our highly motivated French tutors. She holds a French Diploma from the Mauritius Institute of Education.
She had planned to continue in the communication field, such as a teacher. Passionate by her job she developed a strong eagerness to teach French to students (young children and adults) and decided to follow this path. After twelve years of experience in this domain and working in over 6 different schools, she decided to join the Hope’s Language Step family.
Very effective with success in raising the test scores of her students, Doriana believes that acute follow-up, strong dedication and the creation of a classroom atmosphere adapted to the varied needs of the learners are the keys.

Teaching Experience
1. Shadowed experienced teachers through her teaching career.
2. Planned, delivered lessons, attended regional departmental meetings, pedagogical workshops and assessed pupils through different stages of their learning.
3. Been a marker for over six years for French language paper, promoted to Senior marker at the Mauritius Examination Syndicate.
4. Worked in poor regions (Zone d’Education Prioritaire) with average pupils and made huge achievements with these pupils, who now are attending highly reputed colleges.
5. Being able to bring to the second place a school ranked among the low achieving schools.
